Expansion: colors

I love how fruits and vegetables have a wide variety of colors. Thus this batch of images, enjoy.

Expansion: Christopher Columbus.

Last week I posted work from what I did in my Exploration class. Where I was exploring a topic. I felt like Christopher Columbus, I was pushing forward and conquering new territory for me. This is the second part. I'm now digging into my previous work more and experimenting with layout/design within a photographic image.

Expansion: the beginning

Exploring, refining and expanding is all what an artist does. It's what makes us better. It's a learning process and it never stops. I did a study on raw food a few months back and now I am revisiting it but in a different way. I just wanted to show some images from the first time through.

There wasn't a time where I wasn't always making and creating things (or taking things apart and putting them back together).

I got my first taste of the camera by filming live baseball games and even though participating in that was fun it didn't feel like the perfect fit.

Searching for my next adventure I decided to enroll into the Art Institute of Charlotte and get a degree in Photography. I never took a class in still imagery so it was a bit scary. However, it worked out for me because I was rewarded a scholarship and different awards since my time there.

Now being a recent graduate I'm looking for work in my field and still creating my work. Pushing my limits in what I can do and pushing what my work can become.
